The Shangri-Las - Leader of the Pack (2016 Japanese Mini LP CD Paper Sleeve Expanded Edition) (Red Bird) (1965)

This is the Shangri-Las debut album, originally released in 1965 on the Red Bird label. It had never been released on CD until recently,

when it was finally issued for the very first time in Japan only in 2016 as a Mini LP CD Paper Sleeve Expanded Edition. 

There are a number of album tracks featured here which had never been released on CD previously, despite the many official compilations released up until this point.

The Shangri-Las - Shangri-Las '65 (2017 Japanese Mini LP CD Paper Sleeve Expanded Edition) (Red Bird) (1965)

This is the second Shangri-Las album, originally released in 1965 on the Red Bird label. It had never been released on CD until recently,

when it was finally issued for the very first time in Japan only in 2017 as a Mini LP CD Paper Sleeve Expanded Edition.

The Shangri-Las - Golden Hits of the Shangri-Las (2021, 55th Anniversary Expanded Mono Remaster) (Mercury) (1966)

This is the third and final Shangri-Las album, a compilation originally released in 1966 on the Mercury label. It has never been released on CD.

This is my own compilation using all the original mono mixes from the highest quality digital sources of the 12 track album, 

plus adding another 18 bonus tracks for a 30 track 2021 55th anniversary expanded edition, making it a 79:37 CD running time.

The Red Bird Story (4CD) (1991)

FANTASTIC 4CD set originally released in 1991 featuring the very best offerings from The Shangri-Las, The Ad-Libs,

The Dixie Cups, The Jelly Beans and more on New York's Red Bird label founded in 1964.

The label's first release was "Chapel of Love" by the Dixie Cups, which quickly reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, a feat matched later that year by the Shangri-Las' "Leader of the Pack".

Eleven of the first 30 singles released by Red Bird reached the Top Forty.
