Sending everyone my NOW 1-8 again to add to the archives, which are 100% identical to the original 1980s releases.

Like volumes 1-7, this latest re-release of volume 8 features incorrect versions of a number of songs, 

mainly using much longer album versions rather than the 7” single mixes 

which were originally used on the albums in the 80s,

plus on a number of the reissues quite a few tracks have been omitted due to current licensing restrictions.

There has been a massive outcry from fans and collectors about the abysmal lack of attention to detail on these re-releases. 

You just have to read all the comments on Super Deluxe Edition and Discogs.

Plus I've added my 2021 remasters of the NOW 8 & 9 2CD editions which will hopefully be better sounding with 100% accurate versions, unlike the 'official' releases of NOW 1-7 which

have been a diabolical mess:

I d ecided to revisit my 100 Greatest Girl Group Songs: 1955-1970 collection and improve upon it with a few better sounding remasters, plus while I was at it, expand it to 125 tracks from the previous 100:

I also decided to revisit my 110 Greatest Female Solo Singles 1957-1972 collection.

I've since been able to track down some better sounding remasters for a few of the tracks, plus since I was working on it,

I decided to expand it by 5 years from 1954-1974 making a nice round 20 year span and adding 15 tracks from the previous 110 to 125 now making it a 5CD set:

All 100% original recordings, plus many tracks you just never see on compilations due to licensing, music rights restrictions, etc.

A lot of 60s girls in these collections - much better than the recent NOW one.

Widely regarded by many to be the very best K-tel album releases of the 70s, these much sought after albums have never been 

released on CD.

I decided to take up the challenge and compile these fantastic compilations from scratch using the very latest, highest quality digitally remastered CD sources.

Many tracks, still to this day are very rare and hard to find, so it was fun to research and track them down and add to the many familiar chart hits of the time. 

All tracks are the original 7" single releases, and not cut short and edited as on the original albums in order to squeeze on so many tracks per side.

Super Bad includes both the original 1973 US release and the 1974 UK release as a special 2-disc set. Dramatically different tracklistings by country,

in fact only ONE track (Timmy Thomas - Why Can't We Live Together) features on both compilations! I've added five bonus tracks from the Canadian edition to the US edition.

Super Bad Is Back was only released in the US and Canada. I've added six bonus tracks from the Canadian edition to the US edition.

Souled Out follow up compilations were only released in the UK and the Netherlands. I've added two bonus tracks from the Netherlands edition to the UK album.

Souled Out was released in the US, but with different cover artwork and different tracklistings:

Variant from other '11' pressing, found here > Various - Souled Out: track A2 is different. This version inserts Get Dancin' by Disco Tex & The Sex-O-Lettes as A2 and deletes A7 from other version (Party Down by Talking Beaver). 

The artist listings on the front covers denote this as well. The labels vary subtly, too, with fonts and placement of the '11.' I've included both tracks from the two variants.

Soul Motion was only released in the UK.

Soul City was only released in the UK.

I'm sending you 11 more K-Tel, Ronco, Arcade, etc. 70s compilation albums 

which have never been officially released on CD to date.

The reason I decided to rebuild the Super Bad albums and others from scratch using the latest digital remasters (rather than ripping from the original vinyl), is that all of these 70s compilation albums

from K-Tel, Ronco, Arcade, Adam VIII Ltd., etc. were very badly mastered with poor sound quality with many tracks being severely edited in order to squeeze on as many tracks per side as possible.

I've made absolutely sure through extensive research to use all the original complete 7" 45 single versions (which were originally used on the albums, but cut short),

from my own extensive CD collection and digital downloads, to make these compilations the very best sounding they can be.

What makes these albums most interesting for me is that each one contains, even to this day, 

a few extremely rare, obscure and hard to find tracks.
