Now That's What I Call Music! - Volume 9 (2021 Remaster) (2CD) (1987)
Amazingly, only ONE major error on the official CD release of 1987's NOW 9!
Just two incorrect versions this time around, which I have fixed.
Taffy - I Love My Radio (The version here is 4:07 and matches the one used on Now More Forgotten ’80s. It is listed as Radio Version on Spotify and looks like it dates from 1985. It’s worth noting that the original Now 9 LP did not contain the spring 1987 hit version – you know the one that goes “my DeeJay’s radio” – but instead gave us I Love My Radio (Midnight Radio) (US Remix) which was also released in 1985 and runs for 3:22)
Gary Moore - Over the Hills and Far Away (The original Now 9 LP contained the 7″ mix which was timed at 4:38. Here we get an slightly shorter version – 4:24 in length – that also featured on the CD single of Wild Frontier & subsequent Various compilations)

online discussion forums votes (Steve Hoffman), Wikipedia insight, my own recollections and favourites,
I have finally settled upon my 100 Greatest Hair Metal Songs of All Time collection.
Compiled after exhaustive and extensive research, including the songs which feature most on the many many lists of the best and greatest hair metal tracks ever made:
critics lists, readers lists, online discussion forums, TV countdowns, etc.
Like my previous 'greatest' collections, my goal was to include the very, very best of the genre,

The title track by C.W. McCall is a new version of his 1975/1976 #1 worldwide hit, written especially for the film, with saltier language!
The original album was a very short 10 tracks which ran to just over 29 minutes. I have expanded it to contain an additional 17 classic country tracks,
which were all released before 1978, the original album release date. It now runs to a 27 track, 78:52 minute CD length. Fully remastered.
The album was re-released on a long out of print CD in Germany in 1987 and is virtually impossible to find now, but if you're lucky enough to find a copy expect to pay
upwards of $200!

Strange that the soundtrack was released a full two years after the film, but anyway...
Includes the very hard to find 'Side by Side (Together)' by Twogether (Lynsey de Paul and Barry Blue), which was only released on this album.
A couple of tracks featured in the film were not included on the soundtrack album, namely: 'Israelites' by Desmond Dekker and The Aces and
'Fancy Pants' by Kenny. I've included these two tracks along with a few other bonus tracks to tie in with the film, now making a 25 track, 78:59 minute CD.
All tracks are the highest quality digital remasters released to date. Never before released on CD.

Originally released by K-Tel in 1972, this was a US and Canada only compilation featuring 22 smash hits.
There were two versions of the album: 'Mama Weer All Crazee Now' by Slade was featured on most editions,
but there was one edition where it was substituted for 'Let Your Yeah Be Yeah' by Brownsville Station.
I have included both tracks on this 2021 remaster, making it 23 tracks with a CD running time of 78:23.

Originally released by K-Tel in 1972, this was the UK version of the US and Canadian compilations featuring 20 smash hits.
The UK version contained a completely different tracklisting with 'Back Stabbers' by the O'Jays being the only track featured on
all editions. I have added 5 bonus tracks to this UK edition taken from the US and Canadian editions, which were also big hits in the UK,
making a 25 track CD, with an 80 minute running time.
