Ronco Teleproducts Ltd. wish to state that the photo of Deep Purple is not in fact Deep Purple. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. My LP had a sticker on it when I purchased it brand new, saying the picture of Deep Purple was not them! I've expanded the original album to include three extra bonus tracks from three legendary 'super groups' who were not initially featured, but should have been! Cream, Bad Company and Emerson, Lake & Palmer. The three bonus tracks were all released before 1977, the original album release date. The album now runs to 23 tracks with a 79.44 minute CD length running time. • Axe Attack - 20 Original Hits - 20 Original Stars (K-Tel NE 1100 UK) (2020, 40th Anniversary Expanded Edition) (1980) This much sought after album features a very rare 1979 demo recording of Iron Maiden's 'Running Free' on the first pressing of Axe Attack. As an accident, the German and French pressings of the 'Running Free' 7" contain the 'Running Free' track from the Wessex Studio sessions with Doug Sampson on drums and only Dave Murray on guitar. That same version of 'Running Free' also appeared on early pressings of the Axe Attack compilation album. Subsequent pressings replaced this with the album version of 'Running Free'. As the original 14 track album ran a pretty short time of only 49 minutes, I decided to expand it to a 20 track, 79 minute CD length, adding 6 bonus classic hard rock/metal tracks all released before 1980 (the original album release date). • Axe Attack Vol II - 19 Original Hits - 19 Original Stars (K-Tel NE 1120 UK) (2021, 40th Anniversary Expanded Edition) (1981) This follow-up album contains the very rare Scorpions live track 'The Zoo' performed at the Monsters of Rock festival in Castle Donington on 16 August 1980. This performance and recording has never been released anywhere since and is only available on this album. As the original 15 track album ran a pretty short time of only 62 minutes, I decided to expand it to a 19 track, 79 minute CD length, adding 4 bonus classic hard rock/metal tracks all released before 1981 (the original album release date). • Pure Gold on EMI - 20 Hits by the Original Artists (EMI EMK 251 UK) (2021 Remaster) (1973) Pure Gold on EMI was a smash hit album in the UK, reaching number 1 in the album charts on 9 June 1973. Pure Gold is a compilation album that reached number 1 in the UK. It was released by EMI and is alternatively known as Pure Gold on EMI. It was the label's first excursion into the world of TV-advertised compilations which had exploded with the recent arrival of K-Tel, Ronco and Arcade in the UK, although they would not explore this area consistently until the EMTV series launched in 1976. |

MR XXX PRESENTS ... 1971 - Music inspired by the Apple TV series .. (8cd) .. ELVIS .. VAN McCOY
1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything - Music Inspired by the Apple TV+ Original Series (8CD) (2021)
A FANTASTIC sprawling 150 track overview of the greatest music released 50 years ago in 1971 inspired by the Apple TV+ Original Series - 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything.
Apple initially compiled 100 tracks, it was good but not great. There were a few songs from 1970 and 1972 included, which was inaccurate, plus a few later re-recordings where they don't have
the rights to the original recordings. I decided to re-compile it, removing those tracks and using the rest as a basis to add a further over 50 key tracks from 1971, which were either released in 1971,
or were big hits in 1971 on both sides of the Atlantic.
Over 10 hours of classic pop, rock, funk, soul, jazz, reggae and country.
Elvis Presley - Elvis' 40 Greatest - 40 Original Tracks • Including 18 No.1 Hits (Arcade ADE P12 UK) (2021 Remaster) (2CD) (1974)
Elvis' 40 Greatest is a compilation album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley.
It was released in 1974 and was the UK's biggest-selling album over the Christmas period of that year, but along with all albums
on K-tel, Ronco and Arcade, it was ineligible for the UK Albums Chart until 1975 because it was felt that heavy TV advertising and low pricing distorted the charts.
It finally reached number one on the UK Albums Chart in 1977,
and became the 10th best-selling album of the 1970s in the UK.
It is in fact one of the most common and best selling Elvis compilation albums of all time.
It has never been released on CD. Compiled by myself using the latest highest quality digital remasters at 320.

For the first time in recent memory,
and to my great surprise the NOW team have used all the original versions of the 90 songs featured in this collection.
MR XXX PRESENTS ..... The 110 Greatest Disco Songs of All Time (Super Deluxe Edition) 10cd .. 2021 .. UPDATE ..
I decided to make a very slight couple of tweaks to my
The 110 Greatest Disco Songs of All Time compilation.
I replaced Sister Sledge's 'Lost in Music' with the far superior 'Thinking of You' - the bassline is killer!Plus, I felt the 7" single version of Barry White's 'Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe' is actually superior and far better mixed than the longer album version.
... also added a couple of extra disco releases to the folder:Disco History - 18 Artistas - Músicas Originals (K-Tel TB 320 BRA) (2021 Remaster) (1979)Boney M. - Rasputin - Lover of the Russian Queen (2021)Sorry for the confusion.Download all from the single link below:..

MR XXX Presents .. Ayshea Brough, Beat Girls and another K-Tel ..
Hi Les,
I realise you've taken a step back from the blog, and don't expect you to put these up, but last year Samapplepie requested Ayshea Brough.
At the time I had a few random tracks which I posted for him all from vinyl as at that point only two tracks had been officially released on CD.
Since then her debut album has been released as a digital download, plus a few other single tracks from Polydor. I've also recently purchased
her hard to find second album in mint condition.
Known to many, Ayshea Brough was the much loved TV presenter of Granada Television's 'Lift Off with Ayshea',
which ran for 144 editions, spanning 8 series and broadcast to millions of kids across the UK from 1969-1974.

Ayshea was also an accomplished singer and often performed on her weekly pop show. She recorded two albums and
numerous singles across a two decade career.
• Ayshea Brough - Ayshea (2021 Remaster) (1970)
Her first album has been absolutely impossible to find for the past 50 years, since very few copies were initially pressed in 1970.
I've never once seen a copy in a shop or for sale online.
Luckily, and to my great surprise, Universal just issued a digital download of the album earlier this month (April 2021) for sale on
Amazon and other sites.

• Ayshea Brough - Lift Off with Ayshea (2021 Remaster) (1974)
Her second album from 1974 has never been released on CD and has become quite rare and hard to find.
This is my rip from my own personal mint condition vinyl LP. Digitally edited and cleaned up, plus artwork scans.

• Ayshea Brough - Lift Off... The Very Best of Ayshea (2021)
My own 25 track, 79:49 minute CD length compilation featuring her best singles, B-sides and album tracks.
First ever 'best of' compiled of her 60s and 70s recordings for Fontana, Polydor, MAM, Harvest, and DJM.
Also included are a number of the excellent Pye and Decca Beat Girls compilation series CDs from Ace Records, of which Ayshea's debut 1965 Fontana single 'Eeny Meeny' is featured on Live It Up! Bayswater Beat Girls 1964-1967 (2019):
Don't Blow Your Cool! More 60s Girls from UK Decca (2020)
Live It Up! Bayswater Beat Girls 1964-1967 (2019)
Love Hit Me! Decca Beat Girls 1962-1970 (2016)
Marylebone Beat Girls 1964-1967 (2017)
Scratch My Back! Pye Beat Girls 1963-1968 (2016)
She Came from Liverpool! Merseyside Girl-Pop 1962-1968 (2019)
She Wants You! Pye Records' Feminine Side 1964-1970 (2021)

44 UK smash hits, including 9 number 1's! Featuring quite a few tracks not featured on previous (1972-1976) K-Tel compilations.

I came across this in a Woolworth's store in 1978 and have not stopped playing it ever since. There are some real rare gems on this collection, namely "California Sun" by Joe Jones, "California GL903" by Curtis Lee, and "New Girl In School" by The Magnificent Mercury Brothers, which is so rare that I was ecstatic to see it pop up on YouTube as it has not featured on any compilations whatsoever over the years since "Summer Cruisin'".
These tracks are un-edited originals, apart from track 20 ("Let's Twist Again" by Chubby Checker), which I have doubts about.
I long for the day when it gets issued on CD.
