Yes Sir, I Can Boogie is featured as the first track on the album. A breathy disco classic (which bore a noticeable similarity to Thelma Houston's Don't Leave Me This Way) it topped the charts in 10 European countries, including the UK.

It went on to sell more than 16 million copies - more than any girl group had ever achieved at the time.

There was a German issue of Disco Fever by K-tel, which also featured Yes Sir, I Can Boogie as the first track on the album, but with an overall different

track listing to the UK edition. I've added two bonus tracks from the German version to the UK edition to make a 22 track, 78:33 length CD.

The German edition of the album featured a limited edition poster of Baccara, and to my knowledge, the first time K-tel had ever included a bonus treat!

Astonishingly, Baccara's debut album from 1977 has NEVER been officially released on CD. There was an unofficial bootleg Russian CD released in 2012:
