The reason I decided to rebuild all of these albums from scratch

 (rather than ripping from the original vinyl), is that all of these 70s compilations

from K-Tel, Arcade and Ronco were very badly mastered with poor sound quality 

with many tracks being severely edited in order to squeeze on as many tracks per side as possible.

I've made absolutely sure through extensive research to use all the original complete 7" 45 single versions (which were originally used on the albums, but cut short),

from my own extensive CD library and mp3 digital downloads, to make these compilations the very best sounding they can be.

What makes these albums most interesting for me is that each one contains, even to this day,

 a few extremely rare, obscure and hard to find tracks.

There were 3 releases of this album in the UK, US and Canada, all released in 1976 by K-Tel. They each had different tracklistings. I went for the UK edition as this has the superior tracklisting overall.

I expanded the original 22 tracks by adding 2 of the best songs (two number 1's) as bonus cuts from the US and Canadian editions to make a 24 track, 79 minute CD length compilation.

• 20 Blazing Bullets - 20 Original Hits - 20 Original Artists (Ronco RTL 2012 UK) (2021 Remaster) (1975)

This was my most difficult and challenging collection to compile to date as it features 13 really obscure and hard to find tracks.

I had to order a quite a few original 45 7" singles from Discogs, as many of the songs have never been released on CD or as a digital download.

 

Reparata's 'Shoes' has only ever been released on CD once, and is quite rare, and has over the years become something of a cult classic. 

It should have been a massive hit, but encountered huge release and distribution problems back in 1975:

• Space Invasion - 20 Galactic Hits (Ronco RTL 2051 UK) (2021 Remaster) (1980)

Quite an interesting concept for a compilation album originally released by Ronco in 1980. It features 20 space, galactic, alien and UFO themed songs,

and is really very good!
