A few of this week's new releases.

Now Music have just re-released Now That's What I Call Music! 10 

which was originally released on December 5th, 1987 as the very first NOW collection 

to be released as a 2CD set to exactly match the vinyl and cassette editions.

The original release featured 30 tracks, but frustratingly this 2021 remaster only includes 28. 

'Alone' by Heart and 'Here I Go Again (1987 USA Radio Edit Remix)' by Whitesnake have not been ‘cleared’ for licensing on the 2021 edition, giving the compilers little choice other than to cut it down to 28 tracks. 

So in this instance, the reissue actually offers less than the original CD version.

I have added back these two missing tracks using the very latest digital remasters to restore the CD set 

to its original 30 tracks.

I compared this re-release to the original, and all tracks are the correct versions, 

and I have to say the remastering is a BIG improvement on the original in terms of dynamics, clarity and sharpness.
